MediaWiki Help Pages.

General Help, Starting a New Page, Editing, Images, Tables

Quick Start

To create a new page:

  1. Navigate to the page where you want to add the link to your new page.
  2. Click the Edit tab.
  3. Navigate to where you wish to add a link.
  4. Type the name of your new page in double brackets [[new page name]].
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click on the link to the new page to edit the new page content.

NOTE: You can select existing text as the name of the page by highlighting the text and clicking on the Ab editing tool or surrounding the existing text in double bracket [[text]].

ALSO NOTE: You can name the page something different then the text and still have the text as the link in the existing page with the following: [[new name for page | link text]].

To edit an existing page:

  1. Navigate to the page you want to edit.
  2. Click the Edit tap for the section or the page you want to edit.
  3. The editable page with the existing markup will appear.
  4. use the Wiki markup language to make your edits.
  5. Click Save.
